If I could do it over, I’d unpack the mattress in a spacious area like the living room first, and then move it to the bedroom and onto the bed frame. We haven’t noticed any unpleasant smells or faulty stitching, so everything is looking great so far. Considering the price, we’re very satisfied with our purchase.

if it’s not delivered directly to your home, you’ll need a vehicle where the seats let down because it won’t fit across the back seat.Now once we got the plastic off, and started unrolling it, it immediately started to rise. It looked like it fully inflated right away; but I like to follow directions, so I gave it the full weekend to settle before actually sleeping on it. There was no odd smell or anything.Now, I have horrible back issues, so I had explored reviews that suggested the mattress had good back support, and this one had several mentions of back pain relieve. Maybe my back issues are too extreme, but I haven’t seen any real relieve. (I made another purchase to try and address this).

Regardless, they’ll still fit into one of those two categories, whether the rest is accurate or just marketing hype. In short, if this mattress deteriorates after a year or two, I’ll have lost $150. On the other hand, if I invest in a $1,500 mattress and it fails within the same timeframe, I’d be deeply frustrated and stuck with a less-than-ideal mattress.

As someone who’s a bit on the heavier side and has owned about seven mattresses, I’ve found this one to be significantly cooler compared to the others. I opted to use it without my usual thick mattress cover, which tends to trap heat. I prefer to keep my mattress covered, so I’m considering trying a thinner, cooling cover.

I don’t wake my partner when I get up for a late-night bathroom trip. My wife, who is much lighter than me, also finds the mattress quite comfortable. By the way, there’s no odor from our mattress. We are both 50 and had no where else to sleep and we certainly couldn’t sleep on the floor. Not at our age. However, the mattress expanded immediately. It was at full 12” thickness quickly. It was approximately 12 hours from unpacking to bedtime and we had no issues whatsoever. It was very comfortable.3) If you have an open area to open the vacuum packaging, and are able to move the mattress after unpacking I would do so. It popped open so quickly and forcefully it knocked some pictures off the wall above the bed and knocked things off the nightstands.

After bringing it inside, everything went smoothly, and my son is thrilled. If you encounter issues with pests as some have reported, and you opened the mattress indoors, your home could already be at risk.
